Chashi Nazrul Islam was one of the best Bangladeshi Bangla Filmmakers. He was an acclaimed chief and maker. He was conceived on October 23, 1941 in the town Shamashpur, under the police headquarters Sri Nagar, Bikrampur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He passed on eleventh January, 2015 in Lab Aid Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Chashi's dad, Mosleh Uddin Khan was an architect, who worked for Tata Iron & Steal Company at Jamshedpur, Bihar, India. His mom, Shayesta Khanom was a housewife. Among the 4 siblings and 3 sisters, Nazrul was the eldest. From his adolescence, Chashi constantly needed to be a saint like Dilip Kumar. He was an incredible enthusiast of this extraordinary performing artist. Thus, he needed to watch all the films of Dilip Kumar.
